Founded by two lifelong dancers with a shared commitment to giving the next generation exceptional training, meaningful mentorship, and a positive place to grow as artists and individuals.
Elite Dance Company was born from a shared passion for dance, mentorship, and a desire to create something special for the next generation of dancers.
Our journey began years ago when Alex became one of Ava's dance teachers. What started as a student-teacher relationship grew into a shared vision rooted in a love for dance and a commitment to helping young people grow both inside and outside the studio. Through years of training, competing, teaching, and learning, we discovered that we had the same goal: to create a studio that provides exceptional dance education while fostering a positive, supportive community.
Between us, we bring decades of experience in the competitive dance world. Alex has spent over ten years teaching and mentoring dancers, guest teaching at multiple studios, and helping students develop not only their technique, but also their confidence, discipline, and character. As a former competitive dancer herself, she understands the dedication and perseverance required to succeed.
Ava grew up in the competitive dance industry and has trained extensively in a variety of styles throughout her career, including opportunities to study with renowned professionals through programs such as the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. Her experiences helped shape her passion for excellence, creativity, and inspiring young dancers to pursue their goals.
Together, we created Elite Dance Company because we believe dancers deserve more than great training. They deserve a place where they feel supported, encouraged, challenged, and valued. Our mission is to provide elite-level instruction while maintaining the family-oriented atmosphere that allows dancers to thrive.
We are committed to making a positive impact on our community by helping dancers build strong technique, confidence, work ethic, and lifelong friendships. Whether a dancer is taking their very first class or pursuing ambitious competitive goals, we strive to create an environment where every student can reach their full potential and discover what makes them exceptional.
Welcome to Elite Dance Company. We're so glad you're here.
Dancers are pushed because we believe in them, in a room that stays kind. Discipline and joy are not opposites here.
Every dancer is grouped by real ability, so class is always the right level of hard. No one is left behind, no one is held back.
Performance is built into the year, because confidence is earned in front of an audience, not just in the mirror.
Families grow with us, from a toddler's first class to a senior's final recital. This is a place to stay, not pass through.
Ava has spent most of her life immersed in competitive dance, training extensively in a variety of styles and building a deep passion for both performance and artistic growth. Throughout her career she has learned from respected instructors and choreographers while developing a strong technical foundation and an appreciation for the discipline, dedication, and teamwork that dance requires.
Her training includes studying at the prestigious Joffrey Ballet School in New York, where she trained with renowned industry professionals including Amy Yakima and Heather Morris. Ava is also Acrobatic Arts Certified and is passionate about helping dancers develop strength, flexibility, technique, and confidence in a safe, progressive environment.
Having grown up in the local dance community, Ava is passionate about giving back and creating opportunities for dancers in the area. Her positive energy, creativity, and ability to connect with young dancers make her a supportive and encouraging mentor.
Alex has dedicated her life to the art of dance, first as a competitive dancer and later as an educator, mentor, and leader in the dance community. With over a decade of experience teaching competitive dance, she has trained dancers of all ages and levels, helping them build strong technique, confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love for dance.
She has taught and guest taught at multiple studios, developing a well-rounded approach that emphasizes technical excellence, performance quality, discipline, and personal growth. Alex is Acrobatic Arts Certified and has experience coaching gymnastics, giving her a strong understanding of strength development, flexibility, body awareness, and injury prevention.
As a mother of two boys, Alex understands the importance of a studio culture that feels like a second home. She believes the strongest programs are built on meaningful relationships, open communication, and a genuine investment in every child's success, on and off the stage.
